Day 02 - Ubud

Ubud is Bali’s cultural heart and many artists have settled in the beautiful surroundings of the town over the past decades. Today, visit the home/gallery of a local artist. After a chat over coffee or tea, take a close look at his work and observe the artistic flair with which the interior is designed. Receive some artistic tips from you host before bidding farewell.

Continue on to the Neka Art Museum and meet with the director who will personally escort you around this contemporary museum.

Day 03 - Ubud

Head North today to view the remarkable Tegallalang rice paddies which wind their way down the walls of the valley. Continue to Tampak Siring, a temple built around a holy spring. The inscriptions that can be observed date back to the year 926 and are surprisingly well preserved. The bathing pools are still in use and are believed to bring good health and prosperity for those who partake. Return to Ubud and enjoy some free time for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Many activities, such as cycling or rafting can be booked locally, if you’d like.

This evening, enjoy the sight of traditional Balinese dances performed at one of Ubud’s temples.

Day 04 - Ubud / Jimbaran Bay

Transfer South to Jimbaran Bay, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the morning free at leisure.

This afternoon, visit Uluwatu, a cliff-top temple with magnificent sunset views. Located dramatically on an 80 metre high cliff, the temple was built in the 11th century and is home to a healthy population of monkeys. Watch the ocean break on the cliffs below as the sun disappears on the horizon before retiring to your hotel.

Day 05 - Jimbaran Bay

Known for being one of southern Bali’s best kept secrets, Jimbaran Bay offers white sand and tranquil beaches, an abundance of seafood restaurants at night and excellent shopping opportunities. Enjoy an entire day at leisure to explore the area.

Day 06 - Jimbaran Bay / Seminyak

Transfer to Seminyak, a quieter and more fashionable alternative to the west of Kuta beach and its crowds. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy some free time. Then, visit Taman Ayun, also known as the Royal Family Temple. The temple dates back to the Mengwi Kingdom in 1634. Continue to Alas Kedaton temple, in a forest known as the Monkey Forest located in Tabanan.

In the late afternoon, visit Tanah Lot, Bali’s most photographed temple. The temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. At sunset, the tides are low and you can walk to visit the temple and watch the sun dip into the ocean. Return to your hotel after sunset.
